FAQ
Do I have to eat certain foods?
No, but let me be clear. I’m not saying that you can eat anything you want and still lose weight. But we do not force you to eat a rigid diet that forces you to eat very specific foods for each meal, like one boiled egg and ½ grapefruit for breakfast every morning. Yuck! Nope. Not how we do it. We teach you and empower you to make the best choices based on your personal preferences. Overall, we focus on eating high quality whole foods, but the options are almost endless.
Do you give me a daily meal plan?
No. Meal plans might give us peace of mind in the very short term, because they eliminate all questions and tell you exactly what to eat. But they’re usually NO fun and simply do NOT work long-term. Instead of handing you a meal plan and saying “good luck”, we teach you an overall framework that provides structure, but is flexible. You’ll learn the truth about different foods and be empowered to make great choices that also fit your taste buds.
What happens next? What happens after my initial membership is over?
That’s totally up to you. You can “graduate” and leave the program. Or you can choose to stay longer at a special discounted rate. We’ll email you when you’re nearing the end of your initial access period and you can choose your next move.
Do I have to count calories or track macros?
No way! This can be a helpful experience for some people, but it’s rarely a good long-term solution for our weight loss goals. It just gets so exhausting! It’s like dragging around a big “weight loss ball n’ chain”! That’s no fun and doesn’t lead to true long-term success. Instead, we encourage tracking your specific action items, but you will never have to count a single calorie or track a gram of any macro.
Do I have to totally give up certain foods?
No way! I believe food is meant to be enjoyed! All of it! The problem is … sometimes we get a little out of balance. And this can lead to weight gain. This program helps gently and gradually tilt the balance back in your favor toward sustainable, low-stress weight loss . . . WITHOUT totally giving up any specific foods.
Do you provide a specific exercise plan?
There are exercise guidelines and workout options, but this program is not centered around fancy workout plans. If that’s what you’re looking for, then this probably isn’t for you. We do discuss exercise, cardio, strength training, and the best ways to make it an enjoyable part of your lifestyle. But we don’t hand out customized workouts.
Will this work for people who don’t live in the United States?
Yes! We’ve had many international clients from throughout Canada, Europe, Australia, Iceland, South America, Taiwan, and other places. Coaching calls are purposefully scheduled at various times throughout the day and week because we have wonderful members from all over the world in a bunch of different time zones. Plus, all coaching calls are recorded and available to view later. Sometimes people will submit a question even if they can't attend, because they know they can watch the replay.
Do I get 1-on-1 coaching from Corey?
On the weekly group coaching calls, you’ll have every opportunity to ask questions or discuss things and get personalized coaching straight from Corey. It’s essentially 1-to-1, but in a group setting so that we can all learn from each other. Everyone in the group gets their questions answered and as much personalized guidance as they seek. It happens on coaching calls, but also comes in the form of the private coaching group, where you might receive responses from Corey or one of the other incredible coaches.
I'm not a big social media person. Do I have to be in the Facebook group?
I totally get it. Honestly, I (Corey) am not a big social media person either. But we currently use Facebook for our private coaching group. Why? Because it’s simple, easy, and works really well for most people. Technically you could join, use the Live Life Lose Fat program, have access to coaching calls, and never join the private coaching group. But I’m not sure I would recommend that. The group is where we encourage you to post your weekly check-ins and stay connected for accountability. If you have other questions about this, please feel free to contact us and we can share some of the creative solutions we’ve used with other “not big social media” people.
Will this program work for someone with a specific health condition such as menopause, PCOS, diabetes, or fibromyalgia?
Yes. But it’s important to understand that this program is not designed specifically for any specific health condition. If you’re interested in something that is 100% geared toward what you’re experiencing, then you might want to look elsewhere. That being said, I’m confident this program can help someone substantially improve their health regardless of what medical diagnosis they have. We see it over and over again, especially with diabetes and menopause.
